Play-Doh oops!
Hasbro is doing damage control after parents complained about a tool that was in one of their play sets. It's actually an extruder tool in the Cake Mountain play set but it looks a whole lot like a phallic symbol. They have promised that a new tool would be included in all future play sets and have offered a replacement for anyone who has purchased the Cake Mountain play set. bad design

No takers
A small Minnesota town has offered free home lots to anyone who wants them. The offer has been available for the past three years but so far no one has accepted. There would be about a $1000 fee for administrative costs and a house must be built but otherwise there's no catch to the free lot. So if you're income eligible and want to build a home in Claremont MN, your land awaits. free land

Tortoise to the rescue
A tortoise comes to the rescue of another tortoise. One tortoise was on it's back and totally helpless. There's no way it was going to get back on it's feet without aid from somewhere. A deer became entangled in a fence. The pit bull that lived there alerted his family about the deer. It then stayed by the deer's side comforting and kissing it until it's rescue. The deer was so grateful that it wanted to remain with it's new friend. Animal control had to re-locate the deer to a safer place. caring pit bull

Jerking and Driving?
South Dakota has ended their "Don't Jerk and Drive" Campaign. Apparently some didn't like the slogan and found it offensive. It referred to jerking the wheel after sliding on ice. Less jerking is safer because you don't have to correct after you've over-corrected. Some thought it meant something else though and alluded to masturbation. bad idea
