dog people vs. cat people

Is there a difference in people who prefers cats or dogs over the other?  According to a study done by Denise Guastello, a researcher from Carroll University in Wisconsin, cat people are more intelligent while dog lovers are more sociable.  What do you think?  cats or dogs?
