A newly discovered plant is being named after Jimi Hendrix. It's a rare species of succulent and is found in Baja, CA and Mexico. The brilliant pinkish-white blooms die in the spring and re-sprout in the fall. The people who discovered it were listening to a Hendrix song when they found it and decided to name it after him.
