Alexa is Amazon's voice-based digital assistant. She is programmed to laugh but only if asked to do it. So when Alexa started laughing for no reason, it was creepy. Amazon is working on a fix but if I had one of those things, I'd be turning it off until the fix was in place. Source: UPI
