basketball dreams

Lauren Hill's dream is to play on a college basketball team.  Her first game was scheduled for November 15 but her parents made a special request of the coach.  They wanted him to do everything in his power to move that date closer.  Lauren has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and may not be alive to see her first game.  The coach has managed to get a waiver on a rule, get the other team to agree, and has moved the game to November 2.  This helps but not by much.  Lauren is not doing well and may not even make it that long.  But she's determined to give her best try so that she can at least wear the jersey and hit the court for a bit of the game.  dream
