Dog's Tattoo

A dog was adopted from a shelter and it's new owner found a tattoo on the underside of the pooch.  The Texas man decided in solidarity for his dog, that he would get the same tattoo.  After he posted it on Facebook, he got several comments about the tattoo being a symbol for being neutered.  Vets do this so that other vets won't perform unnecessary surgeries.  The man says that he did some research and he knew what the symbol meant before he got the tattoo but has also said that he will be getting a tattoo of his dog's paw print to cover up the original tattoo.  Source: UPI

Arrested for DUI

A man in Connecticut was arrested for DUI.  That's not an unusual thing but what he was wearing makes this funny.  His shirt had printed on the front, "Beer + Beer = Shenanigans."  That's the shirt that will forever be in his mug shot.  At least it's truthful.  Source: Huffpost

Couch Removal Goes Wrong

A couple moving men were trying to move a couch out of a 4th story apartment.  Their bright idea was to drop the couch off the balcony and have it land in the back of their truck.  That didn't go so well.  The couch bounces off a lower balcony and lands on the cab of the truck smashing the roof and shattering the windshield.  How do you explain that one to an insurance company?  I'm guessing they'll change their strategy on the next move...if they get to keep their jobs.  There's video!  Source: UPI

Cat Raises Money for Homeless

If someone slips a dollar through the slot between glass doors at GuRuStu, a marketing firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma, they're not getting it back.  Sir Whines a Lot, the resident cat, claims the money and it's going for a good cause.  Somebody was playing with the cat and was using a dollar bill.  It caught on and other people were doing it too.  The owners decided to use the opportunity to raise money for a homeless shelter.  They now have a sign on the door that warns people about the money grabbing cat.
But the idea is catching on and Stuart McDaniel, owner of the business, has already sent two checks to the shelter with a third on the way.  Sir Whines a Lot's nickname is now Cashnip Kitty.  Source: Yahoo News

Arrested for a Swim

Aaron Hughes from Ruthin, Wales, is a lucky man.  He was in Las Vegas for a bachelor party but he didn't get lucky in a casino.  His group drove to the Hoover Dam and Aaron decided to swim across.  No one has ever made it.  The hydroelectric turbines cause such a swirling of water that swimmers get pulled under.  What makes Aaron lucky is that 9 of the 10 turbines were not working that day.  It was still difficult for him to make it across and waiting on the other side were the police to arrest him.  He got a ticket for "jumping, diving, swimming from dam's spillways or other structures."  He should pay that fine with a smile on his face because he's still alive to do it.  Source: Fox News
