Blue, Super, and Total Eclipse

January 30 brought us a Blue Moon and a Super Moon.  The Blue Moon is called that because it's the second full moon in a month.  And it's a Super Moon because it's close to the earth and looks larger than it normally does.  On January 31 we're treated to a total eclipse of the moon.  The Western US will have the best view but the Midwest should be able to see a partial eclipse.  You can see NASA's video if you aren't up at 4:30am, there's too much cloud cover, or it's not a good viewing area.  Source: Express

Breaking Into Jail

An inmate escaped from a federal prison, went to a neighboring property, and picked up a bag that was left there.  Inside the bag was some home-cooked food, alcohol, and other contraband.  He was arrested on his way back into the prison.  I'm guessing that stuff would be worth a lot inside the walls of a jail.  But is it worth more time on his sentence?  He was only in prison for 17 months and now it will be longer.  Source: Fox News

Is it a Ghost?

A man was visiting Eynsford Castle in Kent with his 12-year-old son.  He took pictures for his son's homework project.  They were learning about the history of the castle.  When Jon Wickes looked at the pictures he took, he found one that was a bit spooky.  Even though him and his son were the only ones at the castle, a figure appeared in one of the photos.  A paranormal investigator went to the castle to see if the black cloaked figure could've been caused by a natural phenomenon.  Nothing was found.  Most people believe it to be the ghost of a monk that has been seen before in the castle.  Source: Mirror

Art Imitates Real Life

A rapper from Rhode Island is in a bit of trouble.  One of his songs is titled, "Sell Drugsz" and now he's been arrested and sent to prison for selling drugs.  His real name is Michael Persaud and goes by the name, "Montana Millz."  Michael pleaded guilty in October to drug trafficking charges.  He delivered fentanyl and heroin to an undercover cop.  Not a very smart man.  Make your money with your music, not selling drugs.  Source: Fox News
