Oscar the dog likes to chew on things. Most dogs do but he decided to chew on the controller of his owner's xbox 360 one night. Oscar managed to buy 5000 Microsoft points which were billed directly to the owner's credit card.

Martinsville race

Once again, it was a great race. Denny Hamlin won and I was thrilled about that. The weather out there was fantastic--I even got a bit of sun. The most exciting part of this race was that all of the spectators got to wave the green flag and say, "Gentlemen start your engines."

Sea Monster found

The skull of a fossilized sea monster has been found off of Britain's Jurassic coast. This pliosaur was believed to be 52 feet long. I wouldn't want to run into one of those while swimming.

A 125-pound bear walked into a grocery store in Hayward WI. He seemed to know exactly where he was going--directly into the cooler. Two missing Winona teens

Two Winona teens have been missing since October 3. Their parents and authorities are searching for them. They were tracked as far as Chicago when their cell phones were either shut off or the batteries went dead. They are both friends of my son and he is very worried. No foul play is suspected but it is very uncharacteristic of these two teens to do something like this. This article has their pictures and a picture of the car in which they were traveling.

anti-wi-fi paint?

The University of Tokyo has developed a paint that can prevent a wi-fi signal from getting through. Just paint the outside of a building and no one can access the wi-fi from outside of that building. As I read the article, I kept thinking why a password wouldn't work lol.

Lego House is demolished

The Lego House was built for the BBC show called "Toy Stories." The show's presenter had planned to live in the house but Denbies Wine Estate in England wanted their land back and no one wanted to move the house. It had been offered for free but was estimated to cost $80,000 to dismantle and reconstruct elsewhere. Legoland will be taking the pieces and using them for a charity event to benefit The National Autistic Society. Be sure to watch the video--it shows the inside of the house.
