father and son reunited in Argentina

Abel Madariaga had never seen his son who was born in July of 1977. His pregnant wife was kidnapped and killed shortly after their son was born. One of the military officers had taken the child home to be raised as his own. Years later the marriage broke up and after years of wondering why he didn't look like his siblings and feeling like he didn't belong; the young man finally asked his mother about the truth. She tearfully told him and he got a DNA test to prove who he really was. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/lt_argentina_dirty_war_children

American Idol

American Idol is down to the top 24 so now it's time to get serious and watch it every week. I've caught some of the audition shows but now is when I start picking my favorites. American Idol has made one change to the top 24. Chris Golightly was found ineligible and has been replaced by Tim Urban. http://omg.yahoo.com/news/american-idol-contestant-removed-from-top-24/36060?nc

Tina Fey and her Vogue cover

Tina Fey has never minded that she has a scar on her face and just chooses not to talk about it. But now Vogue magazine has airbrushed it out on their cover picture. I think sometimes magazines go to far with their idea of perfection--we're all perfect in out own little ways. http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/beauty/tina-feys-scar-vanishes-on-vogue-cover-654972/

bankers that care

In this financial downturn, it seems difficult to find a banker that is helpful and actually cares. I found one in Winona. His name is Jerod and he was extremely helpful in getting some issues resolved with my daughter's accounts. I have Power of Attorney and had no problems taking care of things. Thanks Jerod.

Patrick Timoney was playing with legos at lunchtime with a friend at school one day. All was fine until he put a gun in the hands of his lego police officer. The boy was treated terribly and threatened with suspension. After parents met with the principal, the boy was allowed to remain in school.
