There are angels among us.

A pilot on a Southwest flight from Los Angeles to Denver is a true angel. Mark Dickinson was on his way to Denver to say goodbye one last time before his 2-year-old grandson passed away. The child was admitted to the hospital on January 5 after his mother's boyfriend threw him across the room. The decision had been made to remove the life support and Mark just wanted to make it in time. Unfortunately he was met with over a two hour wait to get through security and TSA was not sympathetic to his cause. After making it through security, he grabbed his shoes and ran for the plane. Luckily his wife had called the airline and asked for the plane to be held. The pilot was waiting for Mark on the jetway after delaying the plane for a 12 minutes.
