dog's life saved

A pilot flying from Tel-Aviv to Toronto realized that the heating system in the cargo hold was not working and he knew that there was a dog down there.  Instead of knowingly letting the dog freeze to death, he diverted the plain to Frankfurt.  His efforts saved the dog's life.  None of the passengers complained about the 75 minute delay and Air Canada is getting lots of praise for the captain's actions.  The dog's owner is extremely grateful to have his "child" back safely.  It cost the airline about $10,000 extra in fuel but an airline spokesperson said that everyone was very understanding especially when they learned that a dog's life was at stake.  saved dog
