Cat sleeps in couch

The owners of the cat and the couch didn't realize that the cat had crawled in to take a nap.  They partially dismantled the couch and donated it to a London thrift store.  It was purchased and taken home.  The new owners heard a meow coming from inside the couch and did the only thing they could to save the cat--tore apart their couch.  The cat spent 5 days trapped in the couch and has been returned to it's owner.  trapped cat

UFOs checking out deer?

Trail cameras in Mississippi caught a strange sight.  A couple lights flying in the air; shining on some deer, and then flying off.  No one seems to know what it is.  The camera does not emit any light because it's infrared.  And there's no road there so it couldn't be anything driving.  video

saved by daughter

Roger Huff is the kind of guy who would help his neighbors even if it meant risking his own life.  He did just that when he heard his neighbor yell for help with a fire.  Unfortunately, Roger was overcome by heavy smoke and fell to the floor of the neighbor's house.  His daughter, Ashleigh, saw him go down and knew she had to do something.  With the help from the neighbor, Ashleigh managed to drag her dad out and then give him CPR.  Roger is very proud of his baby girl for saving his life.  brave daughter

An amazing woman

Elizabeth Joice found that she was pregnant even though doctors thought that wouldn't be possible.  After receiving chemotherapy in 2010, getting pregnant was like a miracle to her and her husband.  But the cancer returned.  Getting an MRI would probably cause damage to the unborn child so Elizabeth chose to forego the procedure.  She chose the child over her own health.  Doctors moved the date of her C-section to an earlier date so they could treat Elizabeth for the cancer.  Unfortunately, it was too late.  Elizabeth had truly given up her life for her child.  Joice

peanut butter and jelly

It's National Peanut Butter and Jelly day (April 2).  They could be the most famous couple in history.  Even Barbie and Ken didn't last this long.  And if you don't like spreading peanut butter and jelly separately; Goober was introduced in 1968.  Some even add marshmallow fluff, bananas, honey, maple syrup, hazelnut spread, raisins, cheese, potato chips, bacon, pickles, and onions.  I'll just have jelly...thanks.

KISS

All members of KISS will be in attendance except the elusive Vinnie Vincent at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.  Only the original 4 will be inducted though.  None of the members will perform because KISS couldn't agree who would be allowed to play.  If the original 4 are being inducted, I think it should be the original 4 that play.  Just my humble opinion though.  KISS

How I Met Your Mother

It all came to a conclusion last night.  I like the show and have been watching it from the beginning so I absolutely had to watch the ending.  At the half hour mark, there was a cliff hanger.  I was watching with my son and we both expressed our dismay at how it ended.  But wait...it was an hour long show.  We breathed a sigh of relief.  But then began the rollercoaster of emotions.  Barney and Robin finally got married but after 3 years they divorced and Robin was distant from the group.  Ted did finally marry the woman with the yellow umbrella, Tracey, and we saw how all the loose ends tied together.  It would've been good to end there but NOOOOOO.......they had to add one more twist.  Tracey died 6 years ago and Ted was telling his kids about their mother.  The kids, however, saw the story as different from that.  It was the story of how their dad, Ted, was still in love with Aunt Robin and they insist and give him permission to start dating Robin and the show ends with Ted at Robin's door.  HIMYM
