Skilled Cook

A burglar who broke into a restaurant in New York also cooked himself a meal while he was there.  He was caught on security cameras using the kitchen like a pro.  After he was done eating, he washed the dishes and cleaned the area including the floor.  Both the manager and the owner were impressed with his skills.  Source: UPI

Escaped Prisoners

Two women broke out of a prison on Monday and were found on Tuesday in an Escape Room.  That's a bit ironic.  They managed to escape prison by climbing over a fence and then were checking out the escape rooms the following day.  A police officer entered the business and asked it the inmates were there and then called for backup.  Escapees arrested in escape room...it just seems like karma.  Source: UPI

Stolen Pork Roll Sandwich

A fight broke out over a stolen pork roll sandwich.

  It was so bad that police were called and when they arrived, they found a man with a swollen face.  He had been punched in the face for stealing the pork roll and the puncher was arrested.  Think beer may have been involved?  Source: Yahoo News

Mermaid Grounded

A mermaid has been banned from her local public pool.  Officials worry that because her feet and legs are bound tight by her costume, there could be an accident.  She loves swimming in her mermaid outfit and is now looking for a more accepting pool.  Source: Sky News

Granny's in Jail

You have to love your grandson so, so much if you are ok with being in jail for them.  A grandma in Martinsburg, WV, delivered drugs to her grandson while he was in jail.  The drugs were smuggled into the jail sealed in 22 straws.  She was busted and now is behind bars as well.  I love my kids and grandkids but never would I break the law for any of them.  Source: Yahoo News

Giant Spider

Traffic Scotland announced that a very large spider was hovering over the M8 Motorway.  They advised drivers to avoid the area and if they were already there, to run away..."run as fast as you can" they wrote on Twitter.  The tongue in cheek post came after a spider was seen on a traffic cam making it look like a giant arachnid was hovering over the roadway.  Twitter followers even got in on the fun with their responses.  The monstrous spider disappeared before any "real" damage was done.  Perhaps back to it's secret lair.  Source: UPI

Car Thief

A man in Japan tried to steal a car.  That in itself is a stupid thing to do but he tried to steal an unmarked police car with the police sitting inside.  That's going to be an interesting conversation in jail when the other inmates ask why he's there.  Source: UPI
