RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper

We've lost another "great."  Rowdy Roddy Piper was 61 when he died from cardiac arrest in his sleep at his home.  I remember watching Rowdy Roddy Piper wrestle when I was younger.  He always wore a kilt and had a smile on his face.  He and Dusty Rhodes will be missed.  Roddy

RIP Lynn Anderson

The "Rose Garden" singer was 67 when she passed on Thursday from cardiac arrest.  She had been hospitalized with pneumonia after a trip to Italy.  She will be missed.  Lynn Anderson

bus driver hero

A bus driver in Bogota Columbia found an injured dog in the road along his route.  He didn't hesitate to stop to rescue the pooch.  Using a piece of cardboard as a backboard, he picked up the dog and brought it onto the bus.  Passengers looked after the dog until it could be dropped off at a local vet.  The dog is alive today thanks to this bus driver hero.  injured dog

RIP Cecil

Cecil the lion is no more.  That's thanks to a heartless person who has more money than brains.  Walter Palmer is a dentist from Minnesota.  He paid over $50,000 for the "privilege" of shooting, stalking, and killing the majestic beast.  Here's hoping that all of his customers find a new dentist and he no longer has the money to do stupid things.  RIP Cecil

Hulk Hogan no longer exists

All reference to Hulk Hogan on the WWE website has been removed.  There's no reason as to why but some are speculating that it is because of an interview he did that has yet to air.  No more Hulk Hogan

The widow of Dr. Seuss found what she thought were unfinished pages and sketches from Dr. Seuss.  It turns out that it is a complete book and it hits the stands today.  It's called "What Pet Should I Get?"  new book
