Iditarod

One of the teams in the Iditarod race made it to a checkpoint overnight by itself.  Their musher wasn't with them.  He had fallen asleep and fell off and the dogs kept going without him.  The man managed to get to the checkpoint about an hour after the dogs arrived.  After getting some much needed rest, the whole team continued the race together.  missing musher

rabbit hole

A rabbit hole in a field in England led to an underground cave that is believed to be centuries old.  It was almost perfectly preserved with art work, decorations, and pillars.   Photographer Michael Scott described it as cramped but managed to get some great pictures of the cave.  It was raining but once inside the cave, it was bone dry.  hidden cave
