from telethon to competition

Now that the Cancer telethon is over for this year, I can concentrate on my Local Vocal competition this Thursday. Performances start at 7pm and will be held at Riverport Inn in Winona. All proceeds from ticket sales goes to Big Brothers Big Sisters. This is the first year that I will be competing against my son. We both auditioned and both got spots in the top 10. It doesn't matter if we move on, I'm just feeling lucky to get this far.
