In late October, the Queen of England offered to end the two hundred and forty year experiment in self rule of the United States. She says that it wouldn't include Parliament...it would just be her. We could transition back to British rule with a "minimum of bother." We could say, "hey, Queen Elizabeth, we're sorry about that tea thing; can we come back home now?"
